Transkriptuesi

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Transkriptuesi ("we", "us") is an Albanian speech-to-text app. Transcription runs entirely on your iPhone. This policy explains the little we collect and the one optional program that shares data.

On-device processing

Your recordings are transcribed and speaker-separated locally on your device. Your library of recordings and transcripts is stored on your device, not on our servers.

Information we collect

Voice contribution program (optional)

To improve Albanian speech recognition, the app can share recordings together with their transcripts with us. This is on by default and you can turn it off at any time in Profile → "Contribute recordings". Contributions are uploaded without your account identity attached — we cannot tell which account a contribution came from, which also means contributions cannot be individually retrieved or deleted later, including after account deletion. If you turn the toggle off, nothing further is shared. Contributions are used solely to train and evaluate speech-recognition models.

How we use it

To operate sign-in, enforce the trial, process subscriptions, provide support, and (only if enabled) improve speech recognition with contributed audio. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

We use Apple (Sign in with Apple) and Polar (payments and subscription management, as our merchant of record). Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.

Retention & deletion

Account, trial, and subscription records are retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes your account data from our servers. Anonymous contributions are not linked to your account and therefore persist independently, as described above.

Security

Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Contributed data is accessible only to service administrators.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
